well am back. just woke up after my hibernation. beers and bears tend to do that, a lot. back to the sneak-work. who else sneaks out in the middle of the night: thieves, adultureres, terrorosts. who does grafitti: students, protestors, sign painters. god again i am sleepy. but hang on. i have got a great idea of a humopur producing machine, the rudimentary forms of which i shall reveal to you. so wait another 6 months...

humour comedy and all things funny
i am extremely interested in humour. mostly because life is nothing but a big joke to me. am terribly partial to creative humour, bizarre humour. of the what if kind. not the what is kind. oh what if kind would be monty python and seinfeld should be the what is kind. im so interested in humour that i wanto theorise it and analyse it to death. i wanto wring every bit of fun out of it, closely examine it and find out exactly what kind of bizarre makes something funny. i think one of the best ways of creating funny bizarre is to superimpose another seemingly similar situation on an existing situation and take the existing situation to the conclusion natural to that other situation rather than to its own. in fact this can be extended further. as the audience is settling in the first round of bizzare generated by this seemingly probable but impossible conclusion, swing back to the original natural conclusion and voila, you have a comic sketch. Consider the following example for more on this: a local in an occupied land sneaks out in the dark of the night to do graffitti against the oppressive rulers. ....more later now am sleepy. cya

the debate of ideology I
ill think through this as i write so bear with me if i sound muddled. radicalism appears to be highly appealing as ideologies go. it appeals to the youth. why it appeals to the youth and whether there is any clear mapping from kind of ideology to the kind of youth is a very complicated question. worse, its so complicated that the only subject that can deal with it is sociology. the discipline without any clear theoretical structure other than good english. so i wont go there. partly because i loath sociology. those guys always seem to know better english than i do. and i spent oodles of my father's money in a public school you know. returning to radicalism. what are the major radical lines of thought on offer? (research this). anarchism, fascism, communism. ideology, always has views. More radical ideologies just impose those views more forcefully than liberal ideologies. is that the only difference or there is fundamental difference between the views themselves. not being sociologists, we are at liberty to think a little mathematically here, if i may.
